The IRO has developed a large experience in terms of managing bilateral agreements and organising the reception and sending of students. It provides practical information about visa arrangements thanks to its close relation with the Spanish consulates in other parts of the world. The IRO staff keeps close contact with international coordinators at each Faculty so that the follow-up of the grantees is be made. The ECTS is used for exchange students, so that academic and practical information, learning agreements and academic records are issued according to this system.
